Captain Chesham, of the local Salvation Sal-vation Army, thanks the "good people of Ogden, for their generous co-operation In the recent Christinas work among the needy With this co-operation it has been possible to give about 400 dinners to the poor for Chriatmas. Each TiaKket contained meat or chicken, potatoes, onions, crackers, bread, celery, coffee, sugar, butter, can goods, etc And it was no little consolation to know that every poor family in the city, to their knowledge, regardless of creed or color, got some token to remind them that there were gooa people in Ogden Og-den interested In them. Tonight, at the hall, 255 Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth street, at S o'clock, there , will be a huge Christinas tree for the poor children, whore each cliild will get a toy, together with candy, nuts and fruits And, of course, Santa will be on hand to sec his friends the poor children. |
