Show MARVELOUS GRIFFITH DIES OF APOPLEXY - - i SPRINGFIELD, Mass. Dec 25. Arthur R. Griffith of Milford, Ind , a lightning calculator who has bewildered bewild-ered vaudeville attendants thiuughout the country for a number of years by his mathematical wizardry, was found dead of apbploxy in his bed at a local lo-cal hotel today. Griffith was known professionally as the "Marvelous Griffith. " He was 31 years old. Within recent years his peculiar powers have been given many tests by professors of mathematics mathe-matics and psychology at Harvard, Yale, Chicago. Indiana, and Northwestern North-western universities. |
