Show CHANGES IN THE POLICE FORCE When asked this morning concerning concern-ing probablo changes in the personnel person-nel of Ihe police force, Commissioner of Public Safoty T. S. Browning, said that at present bo Was not. in a position po-sition to glvo out anything definite. Ho Intimated, however, that there might bo changes made In the near future fu-ture but for the presont he could say nothing. Tio now chief of police, William I Norton, who will bo sworn in todnj. Is also reticent as lo what will be done at police headquarters and said that until he became more familiar with tho affairs of his now position he did not feel Ih?- he could issue any statement, state-ment, So far as can be learned, no Immediate changes in the force arc contemplates', and though there have been rumors current, slnco the resignation resig-nation of Chief T.
