Show oo PRISONERS IN COUNTY JAIL Thero are only eight prisoners In the county Jail at this time, all but three of whom are serving time for misdemeanors, their terms ranging from three to six months Aside from the Hoken Olson trials that will be heard by .Tudgo Howell next week, there Is but one criminal case on the calendar for trial at this time, that being the case of tho state against S. Nakahara, for assault with a deadly weapon with Intent to murder. George Cms, the Gypsy, is being held for extradition to Wyoming, the time of which depends on the action of tho supreme court of the slate regarding re-garding the ruling of ludge Howell In habeas corpus proceedings. D. Young, a Hollander, Is beingheld for deportation to his native codntry. and there Is no telling when he will be deported Immigration Officer Ilise was iu the city today and he stated that sufficient" facts have not been presented to warrant the removal of Young to Holland and that he could not say when tho case would be ready for hearing. Harry Ross Is still In Jail, pending the action of Salt Lake officers regarding re-garding a criminal charge to be preferred pre-ferred against him. No advice has reached the sheriff's office here as to what has been done In the matter. Those serving time are James Goodman, Good-man, Harry Trac Joseph Eastman, J. S. Liberty and R. a White. oo |
