Show HEAVY PIPE FOR CANYON CONDUIT A restraining order issued by Judge Howell yesterday afternoon, in the damago case of the Ogden Medicinal Springs company against the J. P. O'Neill Construction Co , , checked progress on the work of building the Cold Water canyon conduit over tho ground Immediately south and cast of the sanitarium, but the company today has a large force of teams hauling haul-ing tho steel pipes from the depot to the place of assembly, near the property in controversy It Is thought that legal obstructions will be removed when tho tlmo comes for tho placing of the pipe In the trench. The material that Is being hauled today Is steel pipe, 24 Inches in diameter, diam-eter, three lengths making a heavy load for one team. Much attention Is attracted to the large black longths of pipe as they are conveyed along Twenty fourth street to the place of unloading, a few hundred feet above tho reservoir. The construction company has made no reply to the complaint filed against thorn by the Sanitarium company, com-pany, but It Is expected that an answer ans-wer will be forthcoming unless a settlement set-tlement can be accomplished out of court. Work on other parts of tho conduit Is progressing rapidly and as many men as can bo employed on tho job are at work. |
