INSURGENTS HAV WON Secure the Nomination of Pearse as Presi- dent of Association San Francisco, July 13. Carroll Gardner Pearse, superintendent of schools of Milwaukee, was elected president of the National Education association here today. San Francisco, July 13. The nominating nom-inating committee of the National Educational Ed-ucational association, today nominated Carrol G Pearse, president of the schools of Milwaukee, for president to succeed Mrs, Elh Flagg Young of Chicago The vote was 27 to 20. Mr, Pearse is the insurgent candidate candi-date for preside.nl.
