Show BABY GIVEN AWAY IN COURT Mrs. Grace Kay, a pretty young lady, appeared In the District court this morning and gave her infant child, Lincoln J. Kay, a boy, to Mr. and Mrs. James Combe of Burch Creok. Mr. and Mrs. Combe had petitioned tho court for letters of adoption and the mother of the child appeared and stated that she was willing to give tho baby away. She said that It was born In Salt Lake 45 days ago and that Its father, Bertyn Kay, is dead. Tho young woman snid she married Mr. Kay in Colorado. She gave no reason for giving the child away and she was not asked to make any explanations. ex-planations. Mr. and Mrs. Combe stated to the court that they desired to adopt the child and that if their petition was granted, they would raise the baby as if It were thIr own, and that It will be well provided for and properly educated.
