Show 00 Missouri Pacific to Fall Into Hands of Kuhn-Loeb St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 14. Attorneys representing tho Standard Oil and Kuhn-Loeb Interests, which are reported re-ported to bo seeking control of tho Missouri Pacific Railroad company, mado a formal demand for the stock books of the corporation here today. The demand was mado on the office of Martin Clardy, general solicitor. Tho attorneys stnted they wanted to get the names and addresses of all stockholders. This was with the view to obtaining their proxies for use In the election to be held March 14, at which the allies, it is said, hope to oust the Goulds from coutrol. The first demand for tho hooka was made yesterday and at that time a stock ledger, which did not contain the addresses was produced. Tho demand de-mand for other books followed. |
