A jolly crowd of Lund people mo- i tored to Hot Springs last Tuesday, to enjoy a warm plunge. Among them were: Mrs. W. W. Butler and Miss Florence. Mrs. II. J. Doolittle. Misses Dixie and Dolly. Mrs Heber Wooley, Miss Arvilla Root. Messrs Christensen. Anderson. Bringhurst. Miss E. E. Culsmee Joined them and all enjoyed a pleasant outing. Vernon Johnson met with a painful pain-ful accident while at work on the section last Wednesday, when a heavy hea-vy bolt flew up striking his mouth and knocking out three upper front teeth. He went to Milford the same evening to arrange for treatment and dental work. Mrs. Johnson accompanied accom-panied him and they returned Friday Fri-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. DoWix have enjoyed a visit from their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mclntire, of San Bernardino, Bernar-dino, who are on a motor trip to Nebraska. While here, Mr. Mclntyre Mcln-tyre will make final proof in homestead home-stead land near Milford. Mrs. J E Rambler of Cedar City, spent a few days, this week with her son She left Sunday for Inglewood, California, to visit Mr Rambler's sisters, Mrs E R Lindley and Mrs J R Baldwin 0 H. Moore who has been suffering suffer-ing with the tooth-ache, went to Milford Mil-ford Saturday to consult a dentist. II. Crabtree came down from Milford Mil-ford to spend Sunday with his wife and daughter. C. R. Keith, who has been at work at Lund, spent Sunday at home. Mrs. C. R Goff and Mrs. E. M. Col-vin, Col-vin, of Lund, spent the day with Mrs H. E Smith Friday. Mrs. T. J. Norris and Will and Edgar, of Lund, are spending a few days on their homestead. Miss Helen Moore left for Salt Lake Monday evening. |
