Show MINERSVILLE Miss Mamie Eck of Deseret, spent the week end here visiting friends. Major Schof of the Canadian Mounted Moun-ted Police was here Friday of last week, with an exhibition of Furs and relics of the World war. Miss Melva Eyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Eyre, and Mr. Thea-; Thea-; dore Eyre, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Eyre, were united in marriage Feb. 1, at the St. George temple. A miscellaneous mis-cellaneous shower was given in their honor Thursday evening. Many beautiful beau-tiful and useful presents were received and eighty guests were present to enjoy en-joy the ocassion The young couple will .make their home at .Milford, where Mr. Eyre has employment. The following program was given in M. I. A. meeting Sunday evening: musical reading, Mabel Barnett; chorus, junior Bee Hive Girls; current ecents, Hartley Eyre; short talk, Paul Worthen; remarks, Truman Rollins. Miss Zola Miller of Panguitch, is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Vernile Goff. ! Mrs. L. E. Cooley of Overton, Nev., I is here visiting relatives, j The Beaver High school presented, 1 "Penrod" here Monday evening at the Minersville high auditorium. The high school band gave selections between be-tween acts. Brothers Roy Harris and , George Smith of Beaver, are here doing missionary mis-sionary work. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Baker and daughter Elaine, and Mrs. James' Lang o Milord, were here Sunday. |
