Show i HIGH SCHOOL NOTES j The girls were victorious in their ! game with' Minersville last Thursday I and the teams were evently matched. It was very good and exciting thru-out. thru-out. The Milford girls were in the 'pad through the entire game. The resulting score being 7-10 in our favor. The team is practicing hard and expecting to win from Beaver. The new balcony just erected in the gym by the Milford Athletic club proved to be a great success. It is b.:"h enough not to interfere with players, and it does not extend over !he floor very far, yet it will seat a number of people. This Friday the basketball boys will ro to Hinckley where they will play p-'ofher one of the league games. Although, Al-though, they were defeated by Hinckley, Hinck-ley, on the home floor, they are hoping hop-ing to come home victorious because in the game Friday our boys were in the lead at the end of the third quarter. At a Junior class meeting held Thursday, committees were appointed appoint-ed to take charge of the varous items connected with the Prom which is to be given the 15th of April. The Art class at the Milford high hove been busy this week getting ready the decorations to be used for tl,3 Valentine dance that will be riven at the High school gym. Feb, 1 'tb. The biggest dance during the school year so everybody come and h.-.ve a rrood time. The Seniors have decidede to give a Senior Hop this year, one that will be remembered and they are hopping it will be a tradition which all the Seniors will follow after they have deoarted from the school. |
