Some of them have gr. en kindly mention of the matter from which we clip the. following: On our way down we were met at' the train at Milford by Editor Webster Web-ster and a delegation of Milford's business men. who informed us that we were their guests while at Mil ford. After escorting us to a fine breakfast at Milford's big hotel, the Milford, we were shown over the town during our short stay. Delta Chronicle. c Seeing Milford The first stop made was at Milford, Mil-ford, where the editors and their ladies were the guests of the Business Busi-ness Men's Club of that prosperous and growing city. The party was welcomed to the city by Mr. Geo. Jefferson, president of the club, Mr. E. H. Street, cashier of the State Bank, of Milford, and Editor D. A. Webster, of the Beaver County News. An address of welcome was made by President Jefferson, who told briefly of the resources of Milford and its bright future, the progress-iveness progress-iveness of its citizens and of their pleasure in having the newspaper men with them, even for a short time. After a response to the welcome by Secretary Porte of the Press Association, As-sociation, a hasty trip was made over ov-er the city, business houses visited and acquaintances ; made, until the order of "all aboard" was given by the genial conductor. Park City Record. The first stop was made at Milford, Mil-ford, where the party was entertained enter-tained and breakfasted by the Milford Mil-ford Commercial club. After a stop of thirty minutes the journey was continued to Lund, "where the party took the "Wylie-Way" passenger autos for a thirty-five mile drive to Cedar City. Midvale. |
