Show RE1) CROSS WILL ASSUME WAR RELIEF LABORS pn Sunday, September 2, Mr. Geo. F. Oxley of Denver met with the Milford War Relief Society and arranged ar-ranged to organize a Red Cross chapter chap-ter for this vicinity, the jurisdiction and membership to include all those whose post office address is Milford, also all territory lying west of the Los Angeles & Salt Lake R. R. in Beaver county. The temporary officers selected are Dr. H. C. Hunter, chairman; E. H. Street, treasurer; Mrs. D. A. Baxter Bax-ter and Mrs. Ed. Bardsley, vice-presidents, vice-presidents, and Mrs. D. W. Smith-son, Smith-son, secretary. The War Relief Ladies held their regular meeting on Tuesday following follow-ing and decided to go on with their present work until the new organization organi-zation is perfected, at which time they will become members of the Red Cross chapter.
