Word had been received that Harold Cline had entered the University Uni-versity of Southern California and was getting along fine in his school work. Attorney Sam Cline had made a business trip to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Nichols and children had returned from Lehi, where they had been to attend at-tend the funeral of Mrs. Nichols' brother, Frank Edwards. Maurice Johnson had been host at a party at his home to the . Misses Winnie Fernley, Berniece Lee, Ella Johnson, Helen Webb, Ruth Sterling1 iand Miles "White, Warren Atkin, Andy Winkle and La Von Bird. Games and dancing had been enjoyed. Mrs. Roy Cottrell had returned from California, Iwhere ishe had gone to attend the golden wedding of her grandparents. The local I. 0. 0. Mrs. Ida Sterling and Mrs. Mary Husbands. Hus-bands. The B. of L. E. had also installed install-ed the following officers: J. J. Curry, chief; J. L. Root, first engineer; W. F. Sterling, second engineer; W. S. Christenson, third engineer; B. W. Waddingham, chaplain; G. L. Cuddy, guide; J. C. Jeffers, secretary. After installation in-stallation the ladies of the G. I. A. had surprised the men and a very good program and refreshments had been enjoyed. Miss Idona White had enter-fained enter-fained at a birthday party.
