Show Milford M-Men Win Third Game The Milford M-Men basketball' team Monday night took another big stride toward gratifying their ambition and that of their many friends of again representing southwestei-n Utah in the all-church all-church tourney of the M-Men's league, reputed to be the largest basketball league in the world. Monday night the local team easily vanquished the team from Minersville, long looked to as an unknown quantity as to this year's strength. It appears that there was little to fear, however, as the Minersville crew displayed little except a splendid disposition to fight every minute though doomed to defeat after the first minute or so of play. In that minute or so, however, they had local fans perched on uneasy scats by a phenomenal field goal made from deep right corner. This and a free throw conversion they made before the local fellows got started, were the sum total for the first quarter, however, while Milford ran up a total of 14 points for that period. The half ended with Milford leading 28-9 and after af-ter that subs were run in liberally (Continued on last page) o M-Men Win Again (Continued from first pagt) on both sides, the final score being be-ing 44 to 19 in favor of the Milford Mil-ford team. "Smokey" Easton and Vance Fisher were the big scoring guns for the local team with the latter hooking baskets from almost any angle seemingly. Evan Gillins appeared ap-peared to be the sparkplug for the visitors, though the smallest man on the floor, scoring double the points of any of his fellows and winning the plaudits of the nice sized crowd attending by his indomitable in-domitable courage and his ball-rustling ball-rustling abiliity.
