Show Funeral Services Held At Parowan Funeral services were held Thursday of last week at Parowan Paro-wan for Raymond Kaminska, formerly of Black Rock but a resident resi-dent of Inglewood, California, for the past year, who died in a Los Angeles hospital. Death came as a result of burns he sustained when he fell into a sump containing contain-ing hot water while repairing pipes in the hot water system of the Rosslyn hotel in Lo-s Angeles, where he was employed. His wife is a former Parowan girl, Valeria Applegate, and she and two young sons, together with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. )). Kaminska, and two brothers, Leonard and Cecil, survive him. The accident happened January 4 and the unfortunate victim lived five days afterward, instead of one day, as reported last week. He was 3K years old and a native of Beatrice, Nebraska, though it was from Texas that the family came to Utah some 32 years ago, locating near Black Rock. Mr. and Mrs. H. Kaminska, the parents, were in Los Angeles at tN- time of the accident and accompanied ac-companied the body to Parowan and attended the services there, following which they returned to their ranch home, where they will continue to re.-idc. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. James of Black Rock, longtime long-time neighbors and friends, also attended the funeral services in Parowan. |
