Show Unimportant Season Before the start of the last football season we offered the suggestion that the football campaign of 1943 would be highly interesting but completely com-pletely unimportant so far as any national ranking was concerned. We had such things as Bill Daley of Minnesota, playing with Michigan against Minnesota. Notre Dame had outside stars from Illinois, Minnesota Min-nesota and Miami university (meaning (mean-ing tackle White). The entire program pro-gram was a mess of scrambled eggs. |
