I PIERIANS MEET AT I HOME OF MRS. CLAY ON MONDAY EVENING An interesting program was the feature of the Monday night meeting of the Pierian club at the home of Mrs. Les Clay. Following roll call which was answered an-swered by six members with appropriate appro-priate sentiments, Mrs. Ralph Ellings-worth Ellings-worth conducted English study for the evening. Use and derivation of words was the subject of study. "High Lights from President Hoover's Hoov-er's message to Congress" was the i subject of a paper presented by Miss Catherine Smithson while a review of current events was given by Mrs. Lotta Bardsley. After adjournment of meeting, refreshments re-freshments were se"r.ved, Mrs. Ellings-worth Ellings-worth assisting the hostess. Next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Metta White, president, on December 22.
