Show MILFORD A READING TOWN REPORT SHOWS That Milford is a reading community commun-ity was brought to light by the report submitted by Mrs. Freda Outzen yesterday yes-terday giving the circulation of library libr-ary books for the month in the crty and the attendance of the townspeople at the library. Her report shows that 1471 individuals individ-uals visited the library during the past month; that the circulation of books was 1195 of which 9931 were fic- tion and 202, non-fiction and 85 refer-j refer-j ence. This for a town of 1500 inhab-! inhab-! itants is a remarkably good record, according to Mrs. Outzen. I During the month, 115 books were rebound, the report shows, and the ' following books were added to the col-j col-j lection in the library: I Avundal, Bismark, The Son of Man, j Encyclopedia of the Social Sciences, j Amos 'X Andy, Hildegarde, The Gold ' Shoe, The Callalians and the Murphy, High Fences, Wild Geese. |
