Mr. and Mrs. Glen Belander, of Baker, Nevada, were here this past week. Mrs. A. Christenson, of Center-fie'd, Center-fie'd, and Jins. E. Peterson of Red-mim, Red-mim, spent Saturday in our city. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Waddoups of Phoenix, Arizona, were in Milford Tuesday. Mr. Waddoups was formerly form-erly a Milforv; resident. Mrs. Stoker, Sr., mother of Steve Stoker, came down from Spanish Fork Sunday to visit with her son and his family for a few days. Mrs. Harry Yeager visited her parents par-ents at Farmington last week. She returned Sunday. Tom Schow is spending the week in Salt Lake on a vacation. He will return re-turn this Friday. Miss Alyce Schow has accepted a "position in the offices of Doctors Parrish and Kohler. The Misses Mildred and Bessie Kil-lam Kil-lam returned this week from a visit, in Los Angeles. Mrs. T. W. Campbell and Mrs. Dan Hutchins spent the week-end in Salt Lake. 1 Mr. and Mrs. La Mar Outzen returned re-turned to Milford after spending six weeks in Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Levi and son, ; James Dean, of Mason, Nevada, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Levi. August Nichols visited over the week-end with relatives in Salt Lake City. Harold Hansen and S. Sorenson, of Elsinore, visited Wednesday and Thursday with the Antone Johnson and Fred Levi families. Mr. and Mrs- T. W. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Levi, and Miss Phyllis Levi spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Puffer's Lake. Bill Miller, formerly of the Tellu-ride Tellu-ride Power company, but now with the Dixie Power company, was up from St. George this week. Editor and Mrs. Saunders of the Beaver Press, with Mrs. Bob Nowers, were callers at the News office this week. W. 0. Cluff, sales manager for the Telluride Power . company, with Francis Hood, was over from Richfield this week. Mrs. A. B. Hughes is visiting her sister, Mrs. Willis Rodgers for a few days on her return trip to Los Angeles. An-geles. L" Mrs. N. C. Schow has been- in Salt Lake for the past two weeks to be with her daughter, Letha, who was recently operated on for appendicitis. Misses Maxine and Virginia Atkin left for their home in Walla Walla, Wednesday, after spending a two month's vacation in Milford. Cards have been received announcing announ-cing the birth of a daughter, Sara Anne, to Mr. and Mrs. Loran A. Lewis. Mrs. Lewis is now in Gingman, Arizona-Robert Wood, of St. Joseph, Mo., is. visiting his friend, Wallace Moore. The boys will leave September 1 for a few days in California before school opens. Miss Grace Turner will leave soon for Salt Lake for a visit. From there, she will go to Nevada for a short stay and then to California where she will make her home. ft A |
