Show GETS THIRTY DAYS IN COUNTY JAIL MILFORD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO CHARGE OF ROOST ROBBING Dan Beaudino, who was arraigned last week in Judge Nichols' court on the charge of chicken thievery, appeared ap-peared in court again Monday morning morn-ing to face trial and was given thirty days in the county jail at Beaver. Information In-formation for Beaudino's arrest had been sworn out by E. L. Ferguson, whose poultry had been taken. Beaudino had made an original plea of not guilty, but on his re-appearance in court, changed his plea to guilty-After guilty-After sentence was pronounced, Deputy De-puty Sheriff Kronholm immediately left with his prisoner for the county jail. The sentence imposed in this case by Judge Nichols was a fitting one and should do much, to curtail the raiding of chicken roosts in this vicinity, vicin-ity, frequent cases of which had been reported. The Judge believes that the limit is not too severe a penalty as a wholesome effect should result. |
