Show MINERSVILLE Miss Frances Wood is in Ogden with friends. R . C. Murdock of Beaver was in town Monday. Mr. Holmes a government man of Salt .Lake City, visited with Lester Carter Thursday evening. Mrs. Royal Robinson of Beaver spent the week end here with her parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dotson. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baker is in Salt Lake, where Mr. Baker is receiving receiv-ing Medical Aid after a very serious accident. Miss Agron of the U. S. A. C. gave a demonstration on clothing here Wednesday. The Mesdames Oliver Graff and Paul Worthen entertained the teachers teach-ers of the Minersville school and their partners at the Graff home Thursday evening. The time eas spent in playing ' "500." High score prizes were awarded award-ed to Miss Lola Roberts and La Var Issacson,' consolation prizes were awarded to Miss Blanche Woodward and Kenneth Maughan. At midnight a two course luncheon was served. Mrs. John M. Griffith entertained at a chicken dinner Monday in honor of Norville Lightner. Twenty-one guests were present. The Mesdames Horace Corbridge and Lester Carter entertained Monday afternoon in honor of their mother Mrs. John Eyre. Sixeen guests were present. Mrs. Clarence Gillins entertained the Primary officers and teachers at her home Monday evening. |
