Show STUDENTS HONOR JEAN WOODSIDE Sherman Hickman, captain of the basketball team, at an assembly held last Friday afternoon in the Milford High School auditorium, presented, in behalf of the team and coach, a beautiful beau-tiful bouquet of carnations to Miss Jean Woodside, domestic science teacher, for the loyal help and support sup-port she has given the team. Miss Woodside gave a short speech to express her appreciation and to say at any time she would be willing to help. The eighth grade sponsored the fol- I lowing program with Billy Tribole In ! charge: Instrumental duet, Irene Munford j and Evelyn Hickman Guitar solo - Mary Tomsik j Reading Janet Rollins ; Harmonica solo .... Thelma Thompson j Piano Solo Lois Altman Clarinet solo, Irene Munford and Vurl Frazier. Several eighth grade boys portrayed portray-ed a picture of the basket hall team of nineteen hundred thirty five. The team was modeled after the Tigers of thirty-one. The stunt was ended by fifteen hurrahs for the team. o |
