Show 1 f LYNNDYL TO HAVE COMMUNITY LIBRARY Last Friday night the first of a series of events, by means of which Lynndyl hopes to establish a Community Com-munity Library, was instigated in. the Princess Hall. This movement is sponsored by the M. I. A. Dancing Danc-ing was the main feature of the entertainment given. A large number num-ber of people were in attendance, and all responded generously in patronizing the booth where icecream ice-cream and candy was sold. All services connected with the party were voluntarily contributed. The music was furnished free by local talent, and was much appreciated , . Those responsible for the i . serve much credit for tho sucess oi the affair. The proceeds amounted to $60.40 and the expense was light. This amount constitutes a good start toward the funds necessary to give Lynndyl the reading habit. It has been wisely said that life is a bundle of habits. Frslunate Is he who has made a wisd selection of hajbjits and hals them properly grounded early in life. The reading read-ing habit is very essential in this complex civilization, where so much information Is gathered through Hie printed word. G. C. Leach made a buslnes trip to Delta last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. George Chamberlain Chamber-lain of Lynndyl were recent visitors In Ogden, where the parents of Mr. Chamberlain reside. S. Lawrence Hinckley has purchased pur-chased aesldence in Delta aud will i move there In the near future so that he can better attend to his business Interests there. ' F. T.
