Show HIGH SCHOOL NOTES Mr. Adamspn, our coach, gave a radio party last Monday. The evening even-ing was spent in playing cards and listening to the radio, About midnight mid-night a delicious dinner was served. ser-ved. The Hinckley High girls gave a banquet In honor of our vict&rious football team. The menu consisted consist-ed of olives, nuts, pickles, fruit cocjktails, salmon, croquetts, salad, stuffed potatoes, whole wheat bread and. butter and lemon pie. The fpllpwing people have contributed con-tributed Gold Medals to the Hinckley Hinck-ley High School, tq be awarded in the future: Herman Pedersen of the Oasis bank will award a modal for the best written essay. J. S. Blake offerrs a medal to tho best scholar in the music department. depart-ment. Mrs. A. I. Tippetts will give a medal to the best speller. Mrs. Grace Warnick offers a medal to the beat girl scholar. A medal will also be awarded to the best boy scholar. The library is being enlarged by the addition of new standard books of fiction and reference. We hope every student will take advantage of the knowledge that can be ob-tainecl ob-tainecl from these bopks- The voar book campaign began )ast week. The class securing the most subscriptions will receive an honor page in the year book. Every - class is trying for this honor. The campaign ends Friday, December Uth, with a big dance, tho pro-coeds pro-coeds of which will help finance the year book, |
