Show Ibsen's "Doll House" to be Staged by Delta Parent-Teachers The Delta Parent-Teachers association asso-ciation will present "The Doll's House" by Henrik Ibsen, at the Delta Del-ta Theatre on December 17th. This is perhaps the best known of Ibsen's plays, because of the storm of discussion that arose in Europe when it was first produced. Nora's assertion of independence arid of in dividual right against the .' old-time religion of the demands of "wife and mother," could not fail to shook conventional society. The gayety of the Christmas season, sea-son, the masked ball and tarantella dance "form" a background' 'to Nora's mental agony, and to Dr. Rank's doom, so near at hand. The cast have put forth every effort ef-fort to make this production worth while." The proceeds will go to defray de-fray the expenHes of the association. |
