According to reports re-ports they were defeated by both teams they visited. At Cedar the boys were treated royally roy-ally by tho students and teachers of tho Ilranch Normal. They also tin t with some disadvantages. Tho floor on j which they played had no boundary lines except one side, and the shortest man of the competing team measuied six feet one. The captain Of tho visiting visit-ing team did excellent work. His op ponent only succeeded In getting the ball a few times In the center. Captain Cap-tain Reeve alKO did line from the foul. Tim team as a whole did good work. They were far superior In team work and passing the ball. At Heaver they were treated rather coolly, but they were a surprise on the M. As. At the close of the first half they had the score by 10 to 14, but Heaver struggled ahead at th final by 27 to 33. Unless tho schedule Is changed the Hranch Normal boys will play here Friday Fri-day afternoon, Feb. 3, at 3 o'clock. Tho Hinckley Dramatic Co. will repeat re-peat by special request the "Miller's Curse" next Friday evening In the Academy auditorium. The game was a lively one from start to finish. The Meadow Juniors also defeated de-feated the Deseret Juniors by a score of 10 to 15. Relief Society conference will be held at Hinckley on Friday, Feb. 3. The Stake priesthood meeting will be held in tho evening at 7:30. On Saturday Sat-urday quarterly conference will be held, beginning at 10 o'clock a. m. Kverybody is invited to attend. |
