John Greenleaf, arrested for speeding speed-ing his auto on Main street in Tono-pah, Tono-pah, Nev., was brought before Judge Dunseath and fined $23. The judge said that that would be the fine imposed im-posed for speeding and that the next lime anyone was brought before him for the same offense a jail sentence would be given. 'Owing to the demand made oiv the Denver & Rio Grande for cars by the Colorado coalfields, the Utah mines are being given cars pro rata, the supply sup-ply of equipment running short. The 1,000 new coal cars received by the road during the summer are all in use and the road is rushing repair work on old cars.
