Show Sugarville Siftings -Ralpn iviii'licah ' returned last Sunday from Los Angeles where he has been visiting for some time. The pupils of the fifth, sixth seventh and eighth grades are waiting anxiously for the school room to be made ready for use. Beginning with Sunday, October Octo-ber 1st, the Union Sunday school will be held in the Castle store school room, at 10:30, a. m., each Sunday. Everybody come. Last Wednesday afternoon the Friendship Thimble club was entertained en-tertained by Mrs. Hillyard and Mrs. Cady at the home of the former. The afternoon was spent in comfort tearing and sewing carpet rags for the hostess. hos-tess. Besides the club members many visitors were present, and as well as being a jolly good time, it was a farewell party for several of the members, three of whom are to leave in a few days, so a surprise was planned at which about 35 gathered at the home of E. E. Olds last Sat-urday Sat-urday evening. Dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served on both occasions. oc-casions. The next meeting of the club will be with Mrs. Anson and Mrs. Nutsch at the home of Mrs. Nutsch, October, 4th. |
