Show j last Sunday. I Mr. Mel Adkin has returned to j Hinckley and is then going on south (?) with Wallace Slaughter ; of Hinckley. Oh! yes, Sunday Mrs. Chas. Hickman had a lovely dinner, Mrs. Wellman being the guest of honor. Mrs. Welman has been spending the summer with her daughter, Mrs. Boardman, of Sutherland, and expects to leave for her home in Hollywood, Cal. about the fifth of October. When you go past the school house see if it don't remind you of Louisa M. Alcott's "Little Men" when they sang: Summer days are over, Summer work is done Harvests have been gathered, Gayly one by one. Helen Davis and brother, Edward, Ed-ward, spent several days with the Hickman's and had lots of fun riding on the loads of hay Mr. Hickman is putting up ready for the thresher.
