Show Work to Begin at Once Sugarville Branch Will Soon be a Reality The fore part of the week the bridge gang, which had been working on the stock yards, started work on the branch line to Sugarville, putting in some small concrete structures preparatory prepar-atory to the steel gang laying the rails. Outfit cars are now being fitted fit-ted up for an extra gang which will lay the rails. There are to be thirteen of these cars and they will accomodate about one hundred men. These men will be mostly Mexicans who will be secured at Los Angeles and other oth-er southern points. They will arrive here some time the fore part of the coming week, and once the work starts is will be rushed thru until completed which will be about the first of September. The completion of the branch means much to those located along it and also to the country thru which it runs. There is some of the best land in Utah adjoining this branch line of the Salt Lake Route and we expect to see it quickly settled up and many fine homes adorn the landscape land-scape in a very few years. There are now many nice places along the new line and now that easy means of egress and gress are soon to be realized its growth will be rapid. It is also expected that as soon ss tha road reaches the point of its present . destination Sugarville, Sugar-ville, there will be considerable activity evinced in the new town site. Arrangements are already being made looking to the installment install-ment of business houses there. |
