Show Home Economics Meet The session of the Home Economics' Eco-nomics' Association on Friday last, was devoted to the "Christmas "Christ-mas Thought. " A splendid audience au-dience enjoyed the discussion of, "What Christmas Means to You and the Child." A very large displav of possible home made gifts for Christmas was supplemented supple-mented by excellent thoughts and suggestions on the subject, by Mrs. Detwiler. Mrs. Ethel Lambert made at very valuable demonstration of Christmas candies. The excellent and interesting in-teresting program scarcely left, time for the discussion of the matter, pretainmg to the Housekeepers House-keepers Conference. All felt fullv repaid for the time spent in the meeting. Miss Lulu Johnson, of Holder, is here visiting her sisters Mes-dames Mes-dames Wood and Stephensen. 'Oountv Supt., D. F. The building occupied by Attorney At-torney Banks, just opposite the post office, has been moved to a vacant lot just across the street from the A. B. Ward residence. Mrs. Lemira Rawlinson of Oak City, mother of Eli and W. W. Rawlinson of Delta, was called to the great beyond last week; and interment and funeral services were held at Oak City last Saturday. Marion Killpack, of Delta, and Miss Lillian Williams of Oasis, were married at Fillmore the first of the week. Mr. Killpack left the latter part of the week with a load of personal effects for Sterling, Ut, where he will arrange for their future home. The bride is stayitg at the home of her parents temporarily and will join her husband at Sterling when the home is made ready. |
