Show ' I'r of. HulTaker and Miss Eyr-ing Eyr-ing took the students of the Agricultural and Dom. Science department over to the Roundup Round-up at Delta on Tuesday. They report a very profitable trip. Pres. P. L. Drunson, of the Millard Stake, was a visitor and speaker at the Academy on Wednesday Wed-nesday morning at the Student Pody meeting. He is a member of the Academy Poard and his visit was very much appreciated. The pupils of the Hinckley Public School held a social and dance at the Academy gymnasium gymna-sium on Wednesday evening under un-der the direction of Prin. Tip-petts. Tip-petts. The young people had a rousing, jolly time. The new dances are proving very popular and the school dance last Friday was one of the best things in the way of a dance that has ever been held in the Academy gymnasium. Miss (look is to lie congratulated .in her excellent work with the young people in this direction. (Continued on page 11) Academy Notes The Domestic Science Department Depart-ment of the Academy, has been making and selling candy to get money for some additional conveniences con-veniences for the department. Miss Marsden's girls of the Domestic Arts department fire making Christmas dresses; the holiday season will see thein arrayed ar-rayed in all their glory. The Tlay "College Chums," which the Academy Dramatic Club is putting on promises to be well worth patronizing if the work of the players in preparing prepar-ing it is any indication. |
