Show Prof. Brimhall Dr. Ceo. II. Brimhall of the B. Y. U. will deliver a talk to the students of the Millard Academy Aca-demy next Friday morning. It is expected also that he will address ad-dress the congregation at the meeting at Deseret Sunday morning, at Hinckley Sunday afternoon and at Delta Sunday evening. The doctor is one of the prominent and fluent speakers speak-ers of the west and will no doubt draw a large audience. A.W. Reid of Abraham, was a visitor at the Chronicle office the first of the week, and informs us that the Abraham country is coming right to the front, and his statements are corroborated by R. Van Evera. The pupils of the grammar grades of the Delta schools were allowed to attend the afternoon sessions of the Round-up, and it it is certain that if they were attentive at-tentive they acquired much useful use-ful information even tho they were only school children. By the way, Argo Brown, who was advertising for his lost glasses has found them where, da you think? In his wife's handbag. He said that when the good lady mislaid her slippers slip-pers a short time afterwards, he told her to look in her handbag as that was the m'ost likely place he knew to find anything. |
