Show CONTINUAL GRIND OF FARMER Successful Farmer Must Learn to Make Money Without Drudgery Don't Sicken Young People. Too many people think of the farmer's farm-er's life as one of continual grind. Too many farmers make their life too much of a grind. Excessively long hours, except occasionally, are no more necessary nec-essary on the farm than in other lines of work. Who ever knew a man who was making money on a farm who wasn't thankful to be there? But he must learn how to make money without the drudgery. He must take agricultural papers. They are his trade journals; he must read the bulletins and attend at-tend the farmers' institutes. He cannot can-not afford to sicken his young people of the farm by keeping everlastingly at work. Too big a feed of honey will sicken one of it. Too big a dose of farm work will sicken the young folks just as surely. |
