Show THE HINCKLEY HAPPENINGS Milton Moody left Tuesday for Heber City, where he will look after some business. Clark Bishop, who wa-i operated operat-ed on for appendicitis in a Salt Lake Hospital last weak, is reported re-ported as recovering rapidly. Mrs. Delia Bagshaw and two children arrived here Sunday from Salt Lake City, to join Mr. Bagshaw. The family intend making their home in Hinckley. Preston Meecham, who was recovering from a severe attack of pneumonia is again confined to his bed. His daughter, May of Grantsville, arrived Sunday, to help nurse her father back to health. Last Saturday, The Parent's Class gave a social in the gymnasium gymna-sium to all the married foiks in the town. The afternoon was spent in listening' to a program, eating refreshments and dancing. danc-ing. A large audience assembled in the Academy auditorium Monday, Mon-day, to hear Dr. Wicitsoe. but on account of the roads being in such a bad cohdition he was unable un-able to reach hero, so after listening listen-ing to excellent piano duets by Prof. Brook and Miss Mercy-Blackburn, Mercy-Blackburn, those assembled adjourned ad-journed to the gymnasLiim, where a dancing n'.atinee was enjoyed until 12:30 p. m. At three p. m. a large crowd again assembled to see the M. I. A. scout team win in a basket ball game from the Academy team, by a margin of ten points. |
