Show The Farmers Round Up. The Farmers' Round Up and Housekeepers' Conference of Millard County, being held in' Delta this week by the Utah Agricultural College, is not so largely attended as was expected, expect-ed, the muddy roads and threatening threat-ening weather preventing the attendance of the farmers living at a distance, all told , there are nearly one hundred farmers registered reg-istered at this writing, and about twenty-five women. With fair weather conditions it is supposed that the attendance will thrible by Thursday and gain steadily the remainder of the week. Many subjects of vital interest inter-est to the welfare of the farm and home were ably discussed and the important feature necessary nec-essary to successful farming and economy in the home, which were brought out are sure to result in great good and more profit to those who puts the information gained into practice. The lectures lec-tures and discussions at several sessions have been very interesting interest-ing and instructive.it is to be regretted re-gretted that a larger number were not present to derive the benefits therefrom. An account of the Round Up will be given in the next issue of the Chronicle. But in the meantime let us suggest sug-gest that you lay aside - your la-Dors la-Dors and attend these sessions during the next three days. |
