Show Millard Academy Notes. Mr. Ellison has returned from Salt Lake City: where he accompanied accom-panied his wife, who had undergone under-gone an operation for appendicitis. appendici-tis. The Agriculture Club of the M. A. is a very lively bunch. The boys intend showing everyone a time next Friday evening in Delta at their Annual Ball. Friday afternoon the M. A. Basket Ball team was defeated by the Millard County High. School. We understand that this is the last league game but we hope for victory in 1916;, One of the biggest times of the season, the Bugle Dance, was given Friday evening by the Senior Class. A good time was had and refreshments were sold by the Fourth Year Class. Bro. Spongberg, one of our teachers, took a sudden and severe attack of appendicitis, Friday morning. He was taken to the hospital at Salt Lake and we are glad to hear that he is doing as well as could be expected. ex-pected. The members of the Excelsior Club have adopted a uniform of ilress, in the Millard Academy. Nearly every girl in the school will have one of the uniforms this year. The style adopted will probably be an entrance requirement require-ment next year. The final interclass debate was held Thursday morning. The Sophomores upheld the affirmative affirma-tive side of the question and won two decisions of the Judges. The Senior Class defended the nege-tive nege-tive and won one decision. Both teams did splendid work and the audience waited anxiously for the decision of the Judges. The Sophomores won and the interclass inter-class championship was awarded to the Second Year Class.
