Show OAK CITY .... Mae Shipley A very f i no Mothers" Day and a Day of Prayer program was held Sunday morning under the direction direc-tion of the Sunday School. Tributes to mothers were given in the form of books of poems. Among the Mother's Day visitors were M-S A. Moulton and daughter Florence, of Heber City, Also their son. Master Sergsant Barton, who has been in combat 34 months in the Pacific. He has been away ofr a long time and Oak City was pleased to see him again. He is fairly well and enjoying being at home. Mrs. Lydia Finlinson and Mrs. Joseph Christensen received cablegrams cable-grams for Mother's Day from their boys overseas. Mrs. Caddie Anderson, Kathryn Anderson and MarGene Anderson are visiting in Salt Lake City this week. Mrs. A. M. Roper and Mrs. Mabel Schick returned from Salt Lake City for Mother's Day. They were accompanied by M-S Cecil Turnbo of Salt Lake city. The school sponsored a fine program pro-gram Thursday evening cnsisting mostly of musical numbers. Supt. M a u g h m a n d M rs .
