' , 1 . - "v ' ": I , : : v.- - ':-::T.?; Ann E. Melville Bishop, first wo man resident in Delta, and now our oldest. Again we offer our heartiest congratulations con-gratulations to Mrs. Ann E. Melville Mel-ville Bishop on her 89th birthday which will be Sunday, May 20. Mrs. Bishop came to Delta on June 7, 1907, and was the first woman wo-man resident to move to Delta. She has remained here since that time and now is not only our first woman wo-man resident, but also our oldest resident. A special party will be given by the Daughters of Utah Pioneers of the Ann E. Melville Bishop camp on Friday, May IS, at the home of Mrs. Waioro Wallace in honor of Mrs. Ann E. Bishop. Tea Friday A tea will be given Mrs. Ann E. Bishop in honor of her eighty-nin-the birthday , Sunday, May 20th. Any of her friends who desire are invited to call from 3 to 7 at the home of her grandson, William S. Bassett. She still retains her keen mind, is active and attends church often, and is a pleasant person with whom to visit. We wish her many happy returns , of the day, and also wish her many more birthdays. |
