Church received receiv-ed the following about her son, Ray N. Church, a prisoner of war in Osaka Camp: Washington, D.C., May 12, 1945 Mrs. George N. Shurch, Delta, Utah. Following enemy propaganda broadcast from Japanese Government Govern-ment has been intercepted. Quote. Dear folks, and all. I hope this letter will find you as healthy heal-thy as it leaves me. It seems so long since I could set down and write you that I hardly know where to begin. As I have said, I am in good health and there is no need for you to worry about me. I have received mail occasionally occa-sionally and also I have received a box this year. It was really nice to hear from you and the box was swell. There we can straighten ourselves again.
