Show Oasis ... Laveda Bishop Mrs. A. P. Anderson's daughters, Blanch and Verda, are visiting with her. Mrs. Pearl Anderson and daughter, daugh-ter, Beulah, are also visiting at the Anderson home. Larry and Duane Jeffery have been visiting during the past week at the home of their grandmother, Betsy Skeem. Mr. and Mrs. David Nichols left for Salt Lake City Monday morning, morn-ing, taking with them there another an-other Mrs. Nichols, who has been visiting here for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Art Simmins from Idaho and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark from Lynndyl spent Memorial Day in Oasis. Mrs. Annie Rutherford from Salt Lake City spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter H. Peterson. Pet-erson. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ide and family from Price visited at the home of their mother, Mrs. Emma - Day, last Thursday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Skeem and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson spent Memorial Day in Cedar City. Among those from out of town who attended the funeral services for Mrs. Mary Peterson were: Mr. N. L. Petersen, of Salt Lake City; Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Maw of Provo; Parlell and Rcid Peterson of Provo; Jay Johnson of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Soren Anderson and family fam-ily of Oak City; Mr. and Mrs. Alf Bishop; and Mr. and Mrs. James Stubbert of Ruth, Nevada. Wash Roundy is home from California Cal-ifornia where he has been with his bees. Arlyn Styler made a trip to He ber City last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson visited Sundav with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Val Styler. They returned re-turned to Enhraim the same day. taking Mrs. Styler with them for a week's visit. Wednesday of this week the ward is havin" a clean un dav nt the church. A large crowd with their cleaning implements is expected ex-pected to be out. Miss Lucille Styler left last Thursday for California, where she will spend the summer attending summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Sampson, of Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sampson Samp-son and Mr. and Mrs. Don Sampson, Samp-son, of Ely, Capt. and Mrs. Henry Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Richard j Bean, of Salt Lake City, were in Delta Wednesday to attend the wedding reception of their sister, I Miss Donna Fave Sampson, and Robert Oppenheimer, |
