Show Entertain Family At Lawn Party Mr. nnd Mrs. Van Bishop entertained enter-tained at lawn parties this week for the members of their families who are here, and were visiting here. On Friday night the guests were the members of the Bishop family, on Saturday night the guests were members of the Steph-ensen Steph-ensen family. Picnic supper was served each night, cooked over the out-door fireplace. Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Warnick drove to Provo Wednesday, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. F. G. War-nick, War-nick, and all attended Strawberry Day at Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pace left on Wednesday to return to their home in Long Bench, California, after a visit here of two months. Misses Dorothy Henderson, Bonnie Bon-nie Black, Zoln Cooper and Pntty Pace, who have been attending the B. Y. U., have returned home for the summer vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Memniott, from Salt Lake City, spent Memorial Mem-orial Day in Delta, with their father, fath-er, William Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bishop, and their two children, from San Diego have returned to Delta, and will spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Jordan who are here visiting their mother, Mrs. Laura Egan, spent Saturday in St. George visiting their brother Tex Moseley. It was the first time the brothers had met in years. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Tolbert, whc have spent the past year in Hawthorne, Haw-thorne, Nevada, returned to Delta this week. The Stitch It Club met at tht home of Leona Rickenbach Wednesday, Wed-nesday, at 3 p. m. The lesson was on making a hemmed patch. Those nresent were Elaine Gardner, Lf Rae Chesley, Edith Cahoon, Junea Judd and Gevene Adams. Mrs. Tom Wright and sno, fron Boulder, Nevada, are visiting with her mother, Mrs. Zola Franklin. Mrs. , Leona Works, and Mrs Blanch Works went to Salt Lake City Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy anc Mrs. Blanch Works went to Mant last week. Keith Black, son of Mr. and Mrs Harold Black, was operated on ir Delta Tuesday for appendicitis. Miss Lenore Sparks, of Sail Lake City, returned there Monday on the air-liner, after a visit ovei the week end at the home of Mr and Mrs. A. O. Gardner.
