Show North Tract . Mrs. J. B. Walker Well, I guess better give the folks a line or two One of the interesting items of the past month was the sale of the Foote properly to Bonnie Robinson and the price was a tidy sum. Frank and Kern nnd the family will move up on their properly purchased from the Keelers. The Kootes have been thrifty and generous farmers and their home place, grounds and e-(uipment e-(uipment were a credit to their efforts. ef-forts. We wish them happy landings land-ings in their move. The Keelers used to call the farm the "Valley View." Try it some time and see what an interesting view of our broad acres is to be had from that point. At present the Claytons are living in the Keeler house but they will move soon to a new home. Mr. Clayton is building east of the Wilcox home. Among visitors at the Sutherland cemetery on Memorial Day were: Mrs. Thelma Acey, of Lehi; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Steele of Salt Lake City; Miss Bee Roberts of Cedar City; Lavell and her young son; Mr. and Mrs. Angus Jones of Gun-lock, Gun-lock, Utah; Clifton Lowe of Salt Lake City; and Thomas Terry of Payson. Wednesday the funeral of S. Perry Abbott is being held in Lehi. Although it is many years since Perry was a resident of Sutherland it is interesting to note that he was one of the very first filers through the Carey Act on this project. pro-ject. He was a resident at the time of his marriage to Lorena Gee. Many of their children grew up here. We offer our sympathy at his passing. E. L. Abbott is here from California and will attend the funeral as well as other members of the families. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Fowles from Oregon were recent visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Llovd Knight of Idaho Falls and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sanford and family on Saturday, June 1. Mrs. Jennie Thornton was seriously ser-iously ill on Tuesday morning, but is recovering. Mr. and Mrs. Max Thornton and family of Fillmore are visiting at the Thornton home. Mrs. Laura Moulton has gone to Provo to attend the graduation of her daughter, Ada. W. R. Walker, Farrell Walker, John Walker, and Eugene Sanford are in Salt Lake City attending the stock show and transacting other business. Cards are out announcing the marriage of Donna Faye Sampson and Bob Oppenheimer Wednesday of this week; and Edith Larsen and Glenn Harder on Wednesday of next week. Best of everything to them. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Reeder and Mr. and Mrs. John Reeder of Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho, visited their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Walker of Topaz last Saturday and Sunday. This dry desert is a bit of a shock to people who come from I countries of verdant hills and with green pastures but the new grandson looked good to the Reed-ers. Reed-ers. Sherman Little, the watermaster, is literally pushing the streams a-round a-round as everybody wants to irrigate irri-gate before the water goes out on the tenth. I don't know just what the folks are doing out north but I tell you what I'll go to Jolly Stitchers club meeting on Friday down to Mrs. Oz Johnson's and then 1" sit and listen and I'll tell you about them next week.
