Show OF PERSONAL INTEREST . . . Mr. Charles P. Petersen, from Gunnison, is visiting his daughter, Mrs. Lynn Johnson. Alvin Bishop and family from Logan are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Avery Eishop. Mrs. C. M. Pace returned this week from a visit with her sister in Las Vegas. Miss Lemira Bishop spent the week end in Provo visiting with friends. Rosabeth Nickle is home for the spring vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Nickle. She is attending the University of Idaho in Pocatello. Editor E. Vanee Wilson from Fillmore was a business visitor lo Delta Tuesday on matters pertaining pertain-ing to the Central Utah Water Co. Mrs. Arthur Bunker returned Saturday Sat-urday from Springville where she had been visiting her three daughters. Mabel King and daughter Patricia, Patri-cia, spent Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Emery Peterson spent Wednesday Wednes-day in Delta. He is working at Tooele. Angus Miers went to Panguitch Wednesday to spend a few days with his mother. Pearl Whicker of Salt Lake City is expected home for the weekend. week-end. Joe Pickyavit, and a group of other Indians, came over from Kanosh Saturday to deliver gloves and a buckskin vest he had made for a young lady here. Mrs. Margaret Jackson from Holden visited her daughter, Mrs. Leona Works, this week. Mrs. Works has been down with scarlet fever. Emerald Moody returned home Sunday after spending ten days in Oakland, Calif. Miss Joyce Kelly, who is attending attend-ing school in St. George, played the lead in their school play last week. Miss Kelly was highly complimented com-plimented on her performance. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sampson and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Miller spent Saturday in Salina. . Mrs. Geo. Dobson and Mr. and Mrs. Burns Hildebrand were Delta visitors last Friday. They attended attend-ed the funeral services of James Steele. Mrs. Florence Woods of Spokane, Washington, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Geo. Sampson. Tuesday night after Mutual, the Junior Girls and Vanguard- boys had a skating party in the big hall. Mont Johnson left this morning (Thursday) for his home in California Califor-nia after visiting in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Piatt Taylor left Delta today (Thursday) for California, Cali-fornia, where they will visit with their son Nathan, who is in the U. S. Army. |
