Show Funeral Services For James A. Steele Funeral services were held for James A. Steele under the direction direc-tion of Bishop A. O. Gardner. Opening song by a Mixed quartette quar-tette consisting of Thelma Black, Ora Gardner, Ray Owens and La-Grande La-Grande Noble, accompanied by Norma Wright. Opening prayer John Steele. Vocal solo "Going Home," by Nelson Clark accompanied by El-ma El-ma Terry. Talk Bishop A. E. Stephenson. Vocal Duet "Crossing the Bar", by Thelma Black and Ora Gardner accompanied by Norma Wright. Talk Pres. Harold Morris. Reading Mrs. Paul Adams. Cornet solo Cleo Whicker, accompanied ac-companied by Elma Terry. Remarks Bishop Gardner. Closing Song "Behold 'Tis Evening Eve-ning Tide", sung by the quartette. Remarks and closing prayer by M. M. Stapley. Burial was in the Delta cemetery, ceme-tery, the grave being dedicated by Evan Gardner. Out-of-town visitors attending services wore: Mrs. Frank Church. Mrs. Robert Daley. W. R. Lee and Glen Lee from Panguitoh; Mrs. Minnie Veafor, sister of Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Alta Hatch of Salt Leke: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Riding of Boulder City and Wolden Steele of Los Angeles. |
