Hare went to California last J ek, returning Monday. M- Mrs. Norman Gardner was hosts' host-s' 's at a birthday party for her son, Pay, on Friday night. Dinner was ' served to David Judd, Terry Humphries, Hum-phries, Glen Swalberg. Paul Theo-I bald, Konnard Riding, Marion Clark, Peggy Black, Bonnie Black, Dorothy, Henderson, Flora May and Gloria Warnick. The remainder of the evening was spent playing games. Mrs. Tom Higgs of Los Angeles, is visiting in Delta with M-S Ray S. Bishop and Mrs. Thenelda Park- i er. She is the sister of Ianthus ' Parker. j Mrs. Phyllis Komator, daughter of M-S Giles McDonald, flew . to Florida Monday to join her husband, hus-band, who is stationed there. He I expects to go overseas soon. Misses Shirley and Virginia McDonald Mc-Donald will spend the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting their parents, par-ents, M-3 Giles McDonald. M-S R. W. Rodabaugh from Can-iente Can-iente are visiting in Delta with Mrs. Rodabuagh's mother, Mrs. Sepha Robison. George Ashby and K. Jensen of Provo spent Saturday night in Delta. Del-ta. J. C. "Whittaker o the Richfield Commercial & Savings Bank is in Delta this week looking over the Delta Branch Bank. M-S W. J. Starley spent Monday and Tuesday in Salt Lake City. M-S June Hinckley are in Salt Lake City this week where they have taken their newly adopted son for medical treatment. They adopted the boy in California Califor-nia where Mrs. Hinckley went to get him. They have had the child for over a month. M- Grant B. Snow spent a Ccw days in Salt Lake City last week. M-S M. Ward Moody entertained at a farewell party for M-S Ben Robison at their home Thursday evening. Guests included M-S Ben Robison, Pres. and Mrs. Harold R. Morris, Bishop and Mrs. Warren Henderson, Bishop and Mrs. A. O. Gardner, Grant B. Snow, M-S Norman Nor-man Gardner, M-S William S. Bassett, Bas-sett, M-S Glen Hortin, Dr. and Mrs. LeGrand Noble, M-S Fenton Gardiner, Gard-iner, M-S E. L. Moody, M-S Clair Gardner and M-S Albert Payne. 'Games and rook were played with i Fenton Gardner, E. M. Moody and Mrs. Payne Winning prizes. Lyric Lore Club . . . Mrs. Wiliam S. Bassett entertained entertain-ed the Lyric Lore Club at her home Wednesday, April 18. After a delightful de-lightful dinner the book, "Care of Postmaster," by Corp. Thomas R. St. George, was reviewed by Mrs. Albert Skidmore.
