OCR Text	Show Pilot Receives Awards In European Theater AN EIGHTH AIR FORCE BOMBER BASE, England Second Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Robert S. Hodgen, 22, of Pacific Pacif-ic Grove, California, co-pilot on an Eighth Air Force B-17 Flying Fort- ress, has been awarded an Oak Leaf Cluster to his Air Medal, previously pre-viously won, and equivalent to another an-other award of the medal. The award was for "meritorious achievement" during bombing attacks at-tacks by Lieutenant Colonel Chester Ches-ter C. Cox' 388th Bomb Group a-gainst a-gainst Nazi war industries and military mili-tary targets in cooperation with Allied ground forces. He is the son of M-S Jacob Hodgen, Hod-gen, of Pacific Grove, California, and his wife is Mrs. Janice J. Hodgen Hod-gen of Delta.
