Show Daryl Pearson Made Warrant Officer Promotion of Daryl Pearson, son of M-S Emil Pearson of Delta, to the rank of Warrant Ship's Clerk, has been announced by the 12th Naval District Headquarters. Mr. Pearson, former assitant cashier in the Commercial Bank at Spanish Fork, received his promotion promo-tion March 15, being advanced from the rating of Storekeper First Class. He is attached to the Treasure Treas-ure Island Naval Training & Distribution Dist-ribution Center and Disbursing Office. Of-fice. Warrant Officer Pearson has been in the Navy three years. He graduated from Delta high school and later attended the Brigham Young University. Mr. Pearson and his wife, Mrs. Ivy R. Pearson, also of Delta, presently pre-sently reside at 16040 Washington, San Francisco. Sct. Rex A. Beckstead is in Denver, Den-ver, taking medical treatment. His wife joined him there this week. (Continued on page 8) SSgt. Rex Jensen son fo M-S Charles Jensen is home after having hav-ing been in the Pacific for three and one-half years. This is his first furlough in that time. Lieut, and Mrs. Tex Mosely have been visiting in Delta with Tex' mother, Mrs. John Egan. They left Thursday for him to return to his post. 1 Donnie Kozina, son of John Ko-zina Ko-zina of the North Tract, is taking training at Camp Roberts, Cal. He may get a furlough to visit home in a short time as he has about completed the preliminary training train-ing course. |
