Melville Bishop will be honored at an open house and reception on Sunday afternoon. after-noon. May 19, at the home of daughter, Mrs. Waiora Wallace. Mrs. Bishop's ninetieth birthday is on Monday, May 20, and the open house on Sunday is in celebration cele-bration of the occasion. Friends are invited to call on Sunday afternoon between the hours of 2 and 7 p. m. Mrs. Bishop is one of our old est living residents, having come here with her husband, N. S. Bishop, in Delta's earliest days. Her many friends here join in extending to her their best wishes wish-es and congratulations on her birthday. The Ann E. Melville Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will give a party fox Mrs. Bishop on Friday, May 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Waiora B. Wallace. All members are urged to be present. |
